Kampong-Style Mushroom Pasta

Ingredients (for 1-2 persons):

  • 200g fettuccini
  • 20g shiitake mushrooms
  • 10g shimeji mushrooms
  • 25g bean sprouts
  • 25g garlic, minced
  • 20g local chives 
  • 6ml Plant To Table by Nutrilite White Chia Seed Oil

1 portion chili paste

  • 50g red chili
  • 10ml ketchup
  • 5g garlic
  • 5g shallots
  • 10ml Plant To Table by Nutrilite White Chia Seed Oil

1 portion homemade dark sauce

  • 5ml light soy sauce
  • 4ml dark soy sauce
  • 5ml water
  • 3ml Plant To Table by Nutrilite White Chia Seed Oil
  • 2ml sesame oil
  • White pepper powder

Method:

  1. Boil the fettuccini in a pot of water for 8 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat up a wok with the White Chia Seed Oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Then sauté the shiitake and shimeji mushrooms.
  3. Stir in 1 portion of blended chili paste and 1 portion of homemade dark sauce until fragrant.
  4. Add the boiled fettuccini and quickly toss.
  5. Add the beansprouts and chives in the wok, toss thoroughly and transfer to a plate. Yummy!
